Barracuda is off the main buzz of Burlingame Avenue so I enjoy that part of it. Outdoor dining is available. We went at lunchtime on a rainy day and ate inside. Service gets a thumbs up! As does the Tuna Tataki that I ordered and the bento box with shrimp tempura & a California roll that came with salad, rice and miso soup. The interior could be updated, especially the upholstery of the seating area inside...but at night, I'm sure the fireplace creates an ambience that is delightful and romantic. Go try out barracuda and see what you think!
The Japanese food here is mid. The Thai food is amazing and a great value! I had an amazing green chicken curry with a very generous amount of chicken and vegetables. The spice level was just right.
Everything here is delicious! It's my preferred go to place for lunch. They're always easy to order from (I use their website) and the pickup process is fast and easy. Talk about convenience!! I almost always get their Seasonal Field Greens Salad which is amazing! I usually get the added side of grilled salmon but thought it'd try their grilled chicken and it didn't disappoint. This is my new favorite! I also tried the Japanese Skewers (Yaki-tori) chicken today and they are a perfect side to any dish! Check them out!!
I have eaten here for many years this is my go to for Japanese cuisine. Highly recommend for a great meal.
I'm surprised this place isn't as busy as I thought it would be! Second time here and it still hasn't failed us! I'm picky when it comes to the size of sushi slices and these are honestly the perfect cuts and you're able to bite into it. The options we've had since our last two visits were delicious. The ambiance is nice too! It's not too loud and service is actually pretty quick! Kayla is such a sweetheart!
I havent eaten here in person but i have always ordered the same thing from doordash. And i have to say its almost always consistent. Its always good! Today was the best one we have had. The chicken was perfectly cooked as well as the vegetables with the right bite, and the taste was spot on! I hope they dont change it, My husband and I are planning to eat and have drinks here next time.
